The student parliament at Volda University College are changing their name and their logo. In conjunction with this, they decided to launch a logo contest for the school's students. They requested that the logo mark could be associated with Volda, the university's city. In order to solve this I've drawn up a pen and placed it within a triangle. The pen is both representative of the municipality's coat of arms and academia. The triangle represents a mountain, and refers to the Sunnmøre alps that the schools area is famous for. Both the pen and the mountain are arrows pointing upwards, symbolizing progress.
